Summer Salad

I liked the vibrancy of the colours in As You See It's 'Summer Salad' colour challenge:
I was initially skeptical about the new Lemon Lime Twist, but have been surprised by how many different colours it offsets nicely.
For the flowers, I revisited a favourite: Simon Says Stamps 'Artsy Flower Parts' -I love how the strange and wonderful shapes still manage to look like flowers.

Made using:
Stampin' Up Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist; Whisper White paper, Big on Birthdays Stampset (sentiment).

  1. I love the way you've made those quirky, oddball flowers shine against the white background and the way you've used the stitched rectangles create a white-on-white ground for them. Very clever and very striking. Thanks for joining us at As You See It.

  2. This is just adorable..little pops of color, fun shapes, lots of white space and height...I love it! Thanks for playing with our colors this week!

  3. I love how your quirkly little flowers bridge the gap between the two stitched rectangles, which is very interesting visually! The colours really pop against the white background! Thanks for playing along with our As You See It Challenge this week!

  4. What a gorgeous card! I really love the layout and am totally CASing that! The flowers are sweet and cute (I would say quirky but Heather already did!) This card makes me happy happy happy! Thanks for joining us at As You See It!!

  5. your card is my favorite...luv those blooms! I am so glad you played along with the
